Hello and thank you for visiting my page! I’ve been a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) for 15 years, studied children’s book writing at UCLA, and in addition to being a children’s book author, I’ve worked as a paralegal in entertainment law for 25 years.

I was inspired to write “Street Light Fairies” for my daughter, who at the time was five years old. When she was this young, at random moments walking outside or driving in my car, we’d often notice a street light would go out. I would tell her that meant a guardian angel was watching over us and it was good luck.
